In RoverPass, Site Plans are commonly referred to as a Set of Rules. If multiple sites share the same attributes, you can reuse a single site plan across them.

• Site Plan Name: Enter a unique name for your site plan. This can be anything that helps you easily identify the site plan within your campground's settings.
• Site Type: Choose from a dropdown list of 14 site types (e.g., RV Site, Cabin, Tent). This selection helps categorize the kind of sites included in the plan.
• Maximum Nights Stay: Specify the maximum number of nights a guest can stay. Enter a number that reflects your campground's policy.
• Payment Requirement: Choose how payments are managed, with options like:
  • Total reservation amount upfront
  • One night upfront
  • A custom amount upfront
• Other Details: Use this open field to add any additional notes or internal information about the site plan.

Setting Up Policies and Fees

The Policies and Fees section allows for detailed customization of guest capacities, extra people, pet, vehicle fees, and other policies. Here’s how to set everything up:

Guest Policies

• Maximum Number of People: Set the guest limit for each site.
• Guest Count Preference: Decide whether to count total guests or distinguish between adults and children. You can also set:
  • Starting age for children
  • Number of included guests before extra charges apply
  • Fees for additional guests (choose between a nightly or one-time fee)
    

Children and Pets Policies

• Children and Pets: Toggle whether children or pets are allowed at the site.
• Additional Fees: Define fees for pets and set pet limits per site.
  

Vehicle Policies

• Included Vehicles: Specify the number of vehicles allowed per site before extra charges apply.
• Maximum Vehicles: Set a vehicle limit and determine any additional fees for extra vehicles.
  

Customizing Site Tax Settings for Your Site Plan

The ""Site Tax Settings"" section allows campground owners to tailor tax rates for different site plans or types, overriding the general campground tax settings. Here, you can:

• Select Tax Type: Choose the appropriate tax category for your site plan.
• Set Tax Percentage: Determine the specific tax rate applicable to the site plan.

This feature offers flexibility to adjust tax rates based on local regulations or specific needs of different site types within your campground, ensuring accurate and compliant tax collection.
