Sites & Pricing: your sites and rates on one page

Looking for the Rate Editor? It's now called Sites & Pricing. Find it in the sidebar under Revenue Management → Sites & Pricing. Everything the Rate Editor did is in the Pricing tab, and the old Sites page now lives in the Sites tab of the same page.

Your sites and your rates now live on one page. The Sites page is gone, and the Rate Editor is now called Sites & Pricing. Everything you used to do on both is here, in three tabs: Pricing, Sites and Map.

In this article: What changed · The three tabs · Pricing · Sites · Adding sites · Map · Team permissions · Quick answers

What changed

  • The Rate Editor is now Sites & Pricing. Find it under Revenue Management → Sites & Pricing.
  • The Sites page was removed. Its link under Reservation Setup is gone. If you open an old Sites link or bookmark, it takes you to the Sites tab of Sites & Pricing.
  • It has three tabs: Pricing, Sites and Map.
  • You can add up to 50 sites at once, and fill in their details one time for all of them.
  • You can now see your campground map, tie its shapes to your sites and create a site right from the map.

The Sites & Pricing page in the owner portal, open on the Pricing tab

Sites & Pricing sits under Revenue Management in the sidebar. The three tabs are at the top of the page: Pricing, Sites and Map.

The three tabs

Each tab shows a number, so you can see where the work is before you open it.

TabWhat it's forIts number
Pricing (opens first)Your site plans and their rates. Create and edit pricing, and choose which sites each rate applies to.How many site plans you have.
SitesYour sites as a list. Add, edit, copy and archive sites, and take them on or off Online Checkout.Your total number of sites. It turns amber when some sites have no rate, and then shows how many.
MapYour campground map. Click a shape to tie it to a site, or to create a new site right there.—

The amber number on the Sites tab is how many of your sites have no rate. A site with no rate can't be booked, so that's the number worth your attention. Once every site has a rate, the tab shows your total number of sites again.

Pricing

This is where your rates live. It works just like the Rate Editor did.

At the top you see four counters: site plans, pricing tiers, sites with a rate and sites without a rate. Below them, each site plan has its own card with its pricing tiers and their price periods. Use Filter by site type to show only one site plan.

Site plan → Pricing tier → Price period → assigned to sites

TermWhat it is
Site planA group of sites you sell the same way, like "RV Sites", "Cabins" or "Tent Sites". It holds the photos, policies and tax settings the whole group shares.
Pricing tierA rate inside a plan, like "Premium Pull-Through" or "Standard Back-In". This is what your guests book.
Price periodThe dates and the prices: nightly by day of the week, weekly or monthly. A tier can have several, one per season.
Assigned sitesThe sites sold under that tier. A site with no tier can't be booked.

Each pricing tier has the same buttons as before: Edit Pricing Tier, Assign Sites, Edit Min. Nights by Booking Window, New Seasonal Pricing, New Holiday Pricing and Adjust Monthly Pricing. To change a site plan, use Edit Site Plan on its card. To add one, press + New Site Plan.

Assign Sites

Open Assign Sites from a pricing tier to choose which sites it prices. The left column shows the sites you can add, and the right column shows the sites the tier already prices. Tick a site and use the arrows to move it from one side to the other, then press Save assignment.

Tick Include sites that already have a rate to also see sites that another tier prices, so you can move a site from one tier to another. Leave it unticked to see only the sites with no rate.

The Assign Sites window, with sites that have no rate on the left and the sites on the rate on the right

Assign Sites for the "Standard Back-In" tier. On the left, B-209 and B-210, the RV sites that have no rate yet. On the right, the sites this tier already prices.

Sites

Everything the old Sites page did, in one list.

Search by name, filter by Rate assignment to see only the sites without a rate, and turn on Show archived sites when you need them. Each row shows the site's type, how many rates it has, and two status columns.

An archived site shows as off in both columns, because it isn't offered anywhere. When you unarchive it, its real values come back.

Site details

Click a site to open its details on the right. You see its badges, its photos and a summary: type, rates, guests, specifications and amenities. You can upload photos, reorder them and choose the main one right there.

Bulk actions

Tick several sites and choose an action from Bulk actions: mark them as available or unavailable online, archive them or unarchive them. Then press Apply. The checkbox in the header ticks every site on the page you're looking at. If you change the page or a filter, the ticks are cleared, so an action never reaches a site you can't see.

After a bulk action, a message tells you how many sites changed. Press Undo to put them back as they were.

Adding sites

One button and one form, whether you add one site or fifty.

1. Press + Add Site

In the Sites tab, press + Add Site at the top right. The Add site form opens on the right. The first thing it asks is How many sites are you adding?

2. Choose Just one or Several at once

  • Just one: type the Site name: a number, a label or anything that identifies it.
  • Several at once: choose a Prefix, the number to Start at and How many you want, up to 50. A Preview shows the real names before you create them.

The Add site form with Just one selected and the Site name field

Just one. Type the site's name in Site name.

With Several at once, each name is the prefix followed by a number. The prefix is used exactly as you type it, spaces included: "Site " (with a space) starting at 1 gives you Site 1, Site 2, Site 3… and "C-" starting at 301 gives you C-301, C-302, C-303…

Several at once with the prefix C-, start at 301 and how many 10, and a preview from C-301 to C-310

Several at once. Prefix "C-", start at 301, how many 10. The preview shows the ten names you'll get: C-301 to C-310.

Several at once with 50 sites; the preview shows the first 12 names and 38 more

Up to 50 at a time. With 50 sites, the preview shows the first 12 names and how many more will be created ("+ 38 more").

3. Fill in the details once

The rest of the form is the same whether you add one site or fifty: site type, pricing, specifications (size, accessibility, floor, amperage, hookups), occupancy, amenities, housekeeping and guest info. What you fill in applies to every site you're creating, so fifty identical pull-throughs take one pass, not fifty.

Fields with an asterisk (*) are required, like the site type, a rate and the total number of people. RV sites also need their length and width.

The Add site form, further down. Specifications: length and width, accessibility, site floor, amperage and hookups. Below them are Occupancy & details and Guest info.

4. Press Create

The button changes to Creating… while the sites are saved, and the form stays open until it finishes.

The Create button showing Creating... while the site is saved

Creating… means your sites are being saved.

When it's done, the form closes and a green message tells you how many sites were created, like "1 site created" or "10 sites created". The new sites are in the list right away.

The Sites list with the message 1 site created and the new site C-301

"1 site created". The new site "C-301" is in the list with its type, its rate and Online Checkout Available.

What to expect: sites created this way arrive complete. They already have their type, their rate and their capacity, so they're ready to be booked, with nothing to come back and finish. If something required is missing, no site is created and the form takes you to the field that needs it.

Copy a site

To add a site like one you already have, open that site's row menu and choose Duplicate Site. The same form opens, already filled in with the original's type, rates, specifications, occupancy, amenities and guest info. Give it a name, change anything else you need and press Create.

  2. Press + Create a new site here.
  3. Type the site's name and press Create & Assign.

The site is created with just its name and is tied to that shape in one step. It starts with no rate, so it stays off Online Checkout until you finish it: open it in the Sites tab, use Edit Details to add its type and the rest, and give it a rate.

The Create a Site box with the name B-211 and the Create and Assign button

Create a Site with the name "B-211". The box reminds you: "It starts with a name only, so it stays out of Online Checkout until you give it a rate."

Quick answers

Where is the Rate Editor?

It's now called Sites & Pricing, under Revenue Management → Sites & Pricing. Your rates are in the Pricing tab, exactly as you left them.

Where did the Sites page go?

It moved into Sites & Pricing, in the Sites tab. Old Sites links take you there.

How many sites can I add at once?

Up to 50. Choose Several at once in the Add site form. If you need more, add them in rounds of 50.

I created a site, but guests can't book it. Why?

It probably has no rate. Check the Rates column in the Sites tab (0 means no rate) or the No rate badge in its details. It may also be marked as unavailable online. Give it a rate in the Pricing tab with Assign Sites, or in Edit Details under Pricing.

Can I delete a site?

You can archive it. That takes it out of your list and keeps its history. If a site really has to be deleted, contact the RoverPass support team.

How do I change or upload my campground map?

Contact the RoverPass support team. The link is at the top of the Map tab.

Why can't my team member add or edit sites?

They need the Sites permission as well as Sites & Pricing. See Team permissions.
