How to Set Up Automatic Payments for Campers

The Autopay feature allows you to set up automatic payments for recurring invoices using a card or ACH. This ensures timely payments without manual intervention.

Setting Up Credit Card Autopay

  1. Login: Access the RoverPass Traveler Portal.
  2. Enter your credit card information in the ´Payment Method´ tab
  3. Click on the Reservations tab, select the reservation you want to assign autopay and click on the Payments tab on the top menu.
  4. Select the credit card you want to use and check the ´Allow campground to use this card for future charges?´ box

Setting Up ACH Autopay:

  1. Login: Access the RoverPass Traveler Portal.
  2. In the ´Payment Method´ tab, select the Bank Accounts option.
  3. Click + Add New ACH and fill out your bank details.
  4. Select the bank account and check the ´Allow campground to use this card for future charges?´ box

After completing the form, your reservation's recurring invoices will be set to ACH autopay, which will run on the due date each month.

Autopay FAQs

  • Can a campground set a camper up on Autopay?
    • No, campers must enable autopay themselves through their account portal.
  • What’s the difference between autopay and card on file?
    • Autopay automatically charges the card on the due date, whereas a card on file is saved for manual payments.
  • What are ACH fees?
    • ACH payments will be charged at 1%, with a maximum of $5.00 per transaction.
  • Are there limitations on using ACH?
    • Yes, it depends on the campground! ACH is available if the park allows it, and as long as the campground is in the U.S., uses USD, and your reservation is flexible or for more than 27 nights.
  • As a camper, will I receive notifications about autopay?
    • Yes, you'll get an email reminder 48 hours before the payment is processed.
  • What if I pay an invoice manually?
    • If you manually pay an invoice, autopay will skip that month’s payment.

Autopay Schedule

  • Autopay runs on the due date’s morning, based on the campground's timezone (e.g., CST: 8am-11am).
