How to Create a New Pricing Tier

Pricing Tiers allow you to organize and manage different rates for your sites based on the type of site or accommodation and the pricing structure you want to use.

You can create year-round or seasonal pricing and set specific booking rules, such as requiring certain nights to be booked together.

Creating a New Pricing Tier

  1. Log in to your RoverPass Owner Portal.
  2. From the main dashboard, navigate to Revenue Management.
  3. Select Rate Editor.   
  4. Use the Site Type dropdown to select the site category you want to work with, such as RV Sites, Cabins, or Tents. 
  5. Locate the Pricing Tier section and click on the   icon to create a New Pricing Tier. 
  6. Enter the required information for the new Pricing Tier, including the tier name and pricing details and click on Save.  
  7. Select New Seasonal Pricing or New Holiday Pricing.  To add a Seasonal Rate:
    1. Enter the Rate Name
    2. Enter the applicable nightly/weekly rate
    3. Enter the start and end dates for the season.   
    4. If applicable, select the days that must be booked together under Nights Booked Together.
    5. Click Save to create the Pricing Tier.  

 

 To add a Holiday Rate:

  1. Enter the Rate Name
  2. Enter the start and end dates for the seasona
  3. Enter the applicable Daily Price
  4. Enter the Minimum Nights Required
    .   

NotesImportant: Seasonal pricing date ranges cannot overlap. Make sure each seasonal pricing period has its own unique date range.

Assign the Pricing Tier to Sites ☝️ For more information on how to add, edit, and archive sites, click here.

Once you have created the new pricing tier, you will need to assign it to the appropriate sites.

  1. Go to the Sites tab.
  2. Find the sites you want to update.
  3. Uncheck the pricing tier currently assigned to those sites.
  4. Check the new pricing tier you just created.
  5. Save your changes.

Make sure the new pricing tier is assigned only to the sites where you want it to apply.

Need to Update Site-Specific Policies?

Pricing Tiers manage your rates and booking rules. If you need to update information specific to the site itself, such as the site name, type, size, maximum stay, guest fees, pet fees, vehicle fees, taxes, or payment requirements, use Edit Site Plan in the Rate Editor.
