How to Backdate a Reservation

Did you forget to enter a reservation into the system? Keep reading to find out how to add it with the correct check-in date!

If a reservation was not entered on the correct check-in date, you can manually adjust it to reflect the proper check-in day. To do this, you must first create the reservation and then modify the check-in date. Follow these two simple steps:

How to Backdate a Reservation:

     1. Create the Reservation

  • If the reservation hasn’t been created yet, enter it through the Calendar or use the Reservation Builder in your Portal.
  • For now, set the check-in date as today’s date (this will be edited later). Be sure to enter the correct check-out date and any other relevant details.

     2. Modify the Check-In Date

After creating the reservation, follow these steps to backdate it:

  • Navigate to the 'Reservations' section of your left-hand sidebar in your Portal.
  • Find the reservation you want to modify by searching for the camper’s last name.
  • Click on the reservation to open its details.
  • Select the Modify Reservation tab.
  • In the modification screen, find the Check-In Date field.
  • Manually adjust the check-in date to the earlier, correct date.
  • Double-check that all other reservation details are accurate.
  • Click 'Submit changes' to apply the changes.

Notes:

  • Backdating a reservation may impact rates or charges, so be sure to verify any cost changes after the modification.
