Sending mass SMS notifications is an effective way to communicate with your guests (One-way). Follow the steps below to send SMS notifications and view the results using the RoverPass SMS Hub.
Step 1: Log in to Your RoverPass Account
- Go to the RoverPass portal and log in with your account credentials.
Step 2: Access the Mass Notifications Section
- Once logged in, navigate to the RoverPass Services section in the menu.
- Under RoverPass Services, click on Mass Notifications to open the SMS notification page.
Step 3: Review the RoverPass SMS Hub
- You will be directed to the RoverPass SMS Hub, where you can view data and reports of the SMS messages you've previously sent.
- At the top left of the page, you'll find a button to send SMS notifications to your guests.
Step 4: Submit Your SMS Form

Click the Send SMS to Guests button, which will redirect you to a form to create and send your message.

In the form, follow these steps:
- Accept and Approve Terms of Service: You will need to acknowledge the price per SMS before proceeding.
- Select Recipients: Choose who you want to send the SMS to. You can select specific guests or groups.
- Write the Message: Enter your message in the text box (maximum of 150 characters). If your message exceeds 150 characters, you will need to submit multiple forms.
- Submit the Message: Once your message is ready, click Submit to send it.
Step 5: View Reports and Data in the SMS Hub
- After submitting your message, return to the RoverPass SMS Hub to see a detailed report of your SMS submissions.
- In the report, you'll be able to see:
- The number of SMS messages sent
- The number of messages successfully delivered
- The number of messages that were not delivered
Note: The report will update 15 minutes after submitting your form to provide the most accurate data.
Common Reasons for Unsuccessful SMS Deliveries
There are several reasons why an SMS might not be successfully delivered, including:
- Invalid phone numbers or formatting issues
- Carrier network issues or outages
- Phone number opt-outs or restrictions
Make sure to review the report for specific error messages and resolve any issues to improve the success rate of future SMS campaigns.
