Why are we offering this integration?
Xero is the standard accounting platform for park operators in AU, NZ, UK, and Canada — and a growing share of US operators. Before this integration, those owners exported CSV from RoverPass, reformatted it, and imported by hand every month. That's where bookkeeping errors live.
The integration kills the CSV step:
- Month-end close without CSVs. First of the month, every site night, payment, refund, and Stripe payout is already in Xero with the right tax code.
- GST / VAT–ready books. Australian, NZ, UK, and Canadian operators get tax codes and multi-currency entries posted correctly so quarterly returns don't need a clean-up pass.

Setup
Xero setup is a guided activation with the RoverPass team:
- Submit a setup request from your RoverPass owner portal or via support ticket.
- RoverPass team meets with you for ~45 minutes to map your existing Xero accounts to the RoverPass posting schema (revenue, tax, fees, payouts).
- OAuth connect — you authorize RoverPass in your Xero account.
- Test posting — we run a sample day through and you verify the numbers in Xero before going live.
- Cutover — nightly sync begins.

Use QuickBooks Online. Don't double-post to both.
Q: Does this work for US operators?
Yes. The integration is the same — only the tax code mapping changes (sales tax for US, GST for AU/NZ, VAT for UK, GST/PST/HST for Canada). Most US operators use QuickBooks; if you're already on Xero, this works.
Q: What about Xero's bank reconciliation?
Stripe Connect payouts post to Xero as bank deposits with the deposit reference matched to the corresponding invoice payments. Your bank rec at month-end is one-click instead of a CSV match.
Q: How does multi-currency work?
If you run a USD-base Xero file and accept CAD bookings (or any combination), each entry posts in the original currency with the conversion captured against your base. Your P&L stays in base currency; the audit trail shows source currency.
