Use the right booking link on your website

Use the right booking link on your website

Getting a new website? Before it goes live, check one thing: the Book Now button.

We see it often. A park launches a new site (built by a designer, a website builder or an AI tool) and the booking button points to the park's RoverPass Marketplace page instead of the park's own reservation link. The two look almost the same, but they are not the same link.

Prefer to watch? This 1-minute video shows where to find your link and how to copy it: Watch: Find Your Website Booking Link

Your Marketplace link is the public page campers find when they search on RoverPass.com:

https://www.roverpass.com/c/your-park-name/booking/

Your website reservation link is the same address with a code at the end, starting with ?d=:

https://www.roverpass.com/c/your-park-name/booking/?d=a11113a5-359e-4cc5-bff7-1dab4bbced9b

That code is unique to your park. It tells RoverPass the guest came from you, so the reservation is recorded as a direct booking from your website instead of a Marketplace booking, and the Marketplace commission does not apply to it.

Without the code, a booking made from your own website can be counted as a Marketplace booking.

  1. Log in to your Owner Portal.
  2. In the left menu, open Reservation Setup and click Buttons & Links.
  3. Under Your Reservation Link, click Copy Link.
  4. Paste that link on every booking button on your website.

If you don't see Buttons & Links in your menu, your user may not have access to it. Ask the account owner to copy the link for you, or to turn on that permission in your team settings.

Check your website in 30 seconds

  1. Open your website in a browser.
  2. Click your Book Now button (and any other booking button you have).
  3. Look at the address bar. The link should end with ?d= followed by a long code.

If the code is missing, replace the link with the one from Buttons & Links. If someone else manages your website, send them the link and ask them to update every booking button, including the ones in the menu, the footer and on mobile.

Use it everywhere you send guests

The same link works anywhere you want guests to book with you: your Google Business Profile, Facebook and Instagram, emails and text messages. Use it in all of them.

Need a button?

The same page has ready-made Button Images (Book Now, Book Online, Make a Reservation and Request to Book) in seven colors. Pick a color, click Download, and link the image to your reservation link.
