My Refund Was Sent to a Card or Bank Account I No Longer Have

If your refund was processed to a card or bank account that has since been closed, there's no need to worry. In most cases, your bank can still locate the funds.

Why Was the Refund Sent to My Old Card?

For security reasons, refunds can only be issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase. Refunds cannot be sent to a different card or bank account.

What Should I Do?

Contact the bank or card issuer that managed the original account and let them know you're expecting a refund.

Be sure to provide them with your Acquirer Reference Number (ARN). This number allows the bank to track the refund and help move the funds to your current account if needed.

What Is an ARN?

An Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) is a unique identifier assigned to your refund transaction. Your bank can use this number to locate your refund, even if your original card has been replaced or your account has been closed.

If you don't have your ARN, contact RoverPass Support and we'll be happy to provide it.
