You can now set a different minimum-night requirement for each night of the week within the same season!
For example, you can require:
2 nights for Friday and Saturday
1 night for Sunday through Thursday
You no longer need a separate season or rate just to set different weekend minimums.

Previously, each season had one minimum-night requirement for all seven nights.
If you wanted to protect weekend bookings, you could use our Nights Booked Together feature for Friday and Saturday. However, this also blocked bookings you may have wanted to accept, such as:
Thursday–Friday
Saturday–Sunday
With the new Min. nights settings, you can protect your busy nights without blocking these shorter stays.
This feature is already available for all campgrounds. There is nothing you need to enable.
Your existing seasons will continue to work exactly as they do now unless you enter a number in one of the new Min. nights boxes.
The new settings are located inside each seasonal pricing period, next to the nightly prices you already manage.
1. In your Owner Portal, open your campground and click Rate Editor in the left menu.
3. Click Edit
4. You will now see three settings for each day:

If a Min. nights box is blank, it follows your Base Min. Nights setting. The number shown in gray is only a preview. It is not actually entered in that box.
Min. nights accepts whole numbers from 1 to 90.
Base Min. Nights has no upper limit, so you can use a higher minimum such as 180 or 365 for long-term stays.
To remove a specific night rule, simply delete the number from the box and save. That night will go back to the base minimum.
A new season starts with a Base Min. Nights of 1.
RoverPass looks at every night the guest will stay at your campground and uses the highest minimum required for those nights.
Here are the key things to remember:
The checkout day is not considered a night.
For example:
Check-in Friday → Check-out Sunday
The guest is staying Friday night and Saturday night.
So RoverPass checks the requirements for Friday and Saturday.
A blank Min. nights box does not mean 1 night.
It means the night uses whatever number you entered as Base Min. Nights.
If even one night of the stay requires 2 nights, the entire reservation must be at least 2 nights long.
For example:
Wednesday = 1 night
Thursday = 1 night
Friday = 2 nights
A Thursday–Friday stay is allowed because it includes Friday night and is 2 nights long.
A Sunday setting applies to guests staying Sunday night and checking out Monday.
It does not apply to a guest who checks out on Sunday.
If a reservation crosses two seasons, RoverPass checks the minimum for each night based on the season that night belongs to.
The highest minimum required anywhere in the stay applies to the entire reservation.

This is one of the most common ways to use the new settings.
Let's say you want:
Friday: 2-night minimum
Saturday: 2-night minimum
Sunday–Thursday: 1-night minimum
Set your Base Min. Nights to 1, then enter 2 for Friday and Saturday.
Leave Sunday through Thursday blank.
Here is what guests can book:
| Wednesday only | Wed | 1 | ✅ Yes |
| Friday only | Fri | 2 | ❌ No |
| Thursday–Saturday | Thu, Fri | 2 | ✅ Yes |
| Friday–Sunday | Fri, Sat | 2 | ✅ Yes |
| Saturday only | Sat | 2 | ❌ No |
| Saturday–Monday | Sat, Sun | 2 | ✅ Yes |
| Sunday–Monday | Sun | 1 | ✅ Yes |
The two stays that were often blocked by the old Book together method are:
Thursday–Saturday
Saturday–Monday
Both are valid 2-night stays.
With the new Min. nights settings, you can require 2 nights for Friday and Saturday without forcing guests to book both Friday and Saturday together.

The new Min. nights settings work alongside the other rate rules you already use.
Book together works the same way as before.
If you currently have Friday and Saturday checked, you can keep those settings or remove them.
If your only goal was to require a 2-night minimum on weekends, you may want to uncheck Friday and Saturday under Book together and use the new Min. nights settings instead.
This allows stays such as Thursday–Friday and Saturday–Sunday.
Holiday pricing takes priority on holiday nights.
If a night falls within a holiday period, RoverPass uses the holiday's minimum-night requirement instead of the per-night minimum you entered.
Your existing holiday rules, such as Fourth of July requirements, continue to work the same way.
If you use Edit Min. Nights by Booking Window, those rules take priority when they apply to the guest's booking window.
In that situation, the booking-window rule sets the minimum for the entire stay, and the per-night settings step aside.
These booking-window rules do not apply to stays that touch a holiday period.
Your staff can still override minimum-night rules when needed.
In the Reservation Builder, select:
Override Rules → Min Nights Required
This allows your staff to create a reservation that would otherwise be blocked by the minimum-night settings.
Phone bookings are not blocked by these rules.

If your campground uses RoverPass Channel Manager, your per-night minimums are automatically sent to your connected OTAs.
Each night is sent with its own minimum requirement, so a 2-night minimum for Friday on RoverPass will also be sent as a 2-night minimum for Friday on the connected OTA.
You do not need to configure these settings separately on each channel.
A site can still qualify for Channel Manager if its shortest nightly minimum is 7 nights or less.
For example, you could have:
Base Min. Nights: 30
Monday–Thursday: 2
Friday–Sunday: 30
Because the shortest minimum is 2 nights, the site can still qualify for Channel Manager.
Only if your Base Min. Nights is set to 1.
A blank box always follows your Base Min. Nights setting.
When different nights have different minimums, RoverPass may show a range instead of one minimum number.
For example, if some nights require 1 night and others require 2 nights, you may see 1–2 nights.
This is expected.
No.
That is one of the main benefits of this feature. You can use one season and set different minimums for different nights.
Yes.
The settings belong to each rate and season, so you can have different minimums for different site types.
For example, your pull-through sites could have a 2-night weekend minimum while your tent sites have a 1-night minimum.
No.
It means any stay that includes Friday night must be at least 2 nights long.
A guest can still arrive on Friday. They just cannot book Friday night by itself.
Nothing.
Minimum-night requirements are checked when a reservation is made. Existing reservations are not affected.
Check the Min. nights setting for every night of the guest's stay, not just the first night.
Remember, the highest minimum among those nights applies to the entire reservation.
If you want to accept the reservation anyway, your staff can create it through the Reservation Builder using:
Override Rules → Min Nights Required
