What is Inex Technologies?
Inex Technologies builds IZCloud, an enterprise-grade access control platform purpose-built for the outdoor hospitality industry. The platform combines:
- ALPR cameras (Automated License Plate Recognition) at every entry and exit lane
- Smart Lock Connect for PIN-controlled bathhouses, pools, laundry rooms, cabins, and storage units
- Gateless monitoring for parks that want plate-level audit without a physical gate
Inex hardware is low-voltage and self-installable — most parks bring it up in a weekend without a contractor.
Why are we offering this integration?
Campground owners lose hours every week to three problems Inex solves at the source:
- After-hours arrivals. Late-arriving guests either wake up an on-site host or sit at a locked gate. With Inex, the gate camera reads the plate and the gate opens automatically — no host involvement required.
- Shared gate codes. Every park with a rotating gate code knows the code is the worst-kept secret in the county. Inex replaces the shared code with a per-reservation credential that expires at checkout.
- Overstays. When a guest's checkout date passes and the rig is still on-site, the office usually misses it for a day or two. Inex's exit cameras flag the plate in real time so the office can bill the extra night before it gets lost.
How does Inex work with RoverPass?
The two systems sync the moment a reservation is created. Here's the flow:
- Guest books on RoverPass and enters their license plate during checkout. The plate is required for any park with Inex active.
- Reservation plus plate sync instantly to IZCloud. The plate is whitelisted for the exact arrival → departure window.
- On arrival, the gate camera reads the plate and the gate opens. The guest never stops.
- In-park PIN codes auto-issue for the bathhouse, pool, laundry, and any cabin or storage unit on the reservation. Codes work only during the stay window.
- On checkout, the exit camera logs the departure. If the plate is still on-site after the checkout time, Inex fires an overstay alert to the office so you can bill or contact the guest.
What are the requirements?
To activate the Inex integration with RoverPass:
- Active IZCloud subscription with Inex Technologies
- At least one ALPR camera per entry/exit lane (low-voltage, self-install)
- License plate field captured at RoverPass booking (we'll turn this on for you during activation)
- Internet at the gate — Inex fails over to offline mode if your connection drops, so guests aren't locked out during outages
- RoverPass concierge activation appointment (about 30 minutes)

Q: Do I have to capture license plates from every guest?
Yes — the license plate is the credential, so it's required for every reservation once Inex is active. RoverPass auto-prompts the plate at checkout.
Q: What happens if a guest's plate doesn't read at the gate?
Inex falls back to a backup PIN or a call button to the office. You can also issue a manual override from IZCloud in seconds.
Q: Can I see who entered when?
Yes. Every entry and exit event is logged against the reservation, so the office can pull a full access history for any guest, site, or date range.
