How to Undo a Check-Out

How to Undo a Check-Out

Checked out the wrong guest, or did a guest decide to extend their stay at the last minute? You can reverse a check-out right from the reservation page and put the reservation back to Checked In.

Undo a check-out

  1. Open the reservation from your Reservations list.
  2. Scroll to the Quick Actions section of the reservation page.
  3. Click Undo Check Out. This button only appears on reservations that are currently checked out.

That's it — the reservation immediately returns to Checked In status and the page refreshes to show the change.

What happens when you undo a check-out

  • The reservation's status changes from Checked Out back to Checked In.
  • The guest's dates, site, and payment details are not changed — only the check-out is reversed.
  • The action is recorded in the reservation's history, so you always have a record of when the check-out was undone.

Good to know

  • The reservation page now shows the actual stay status — Checked In or Checked Out — even when the reservation is fully paid, so it's easier to see exactly where each guest stands.
  • If you undo a check-out by mistake, you can simply check the guest out again from the same reservation page.
  • The Undo Check Out button only appears while the reservation is in Checked Out status. If you don't see it, the reservation is in a different state.
