How to Reassign a Reservation to a new email address
Overview
The Reassign User feature lets campground owners and staff update the email address linked to a reservation directly from the reservation overview — no need to contact RoverPass support.
Common use cases:
- A reservation was created without an email address
- A camper used a friend's email and wants to switch it to their own
⚠️ This feature reassigns the user on the reservation. It is not intended for editing a camper's email address. If you need to update a camper's email, reach out to [email protected].
How to Reassign a User
- Log in to your Owner Portal
- Open the reservation you want to update
- Scroll down to the Guest notifications are being sent to section in the reservation Overview
- Click the Reassign User button
- Enter the new email address
- Confirm to save the change
The reservation will now be linked to the new email address entered.
Notes
- Available to both Owner and Employee role users
- This reassigns the reservation to a different RoverPass user — it does not edit the camper's profile
- To edit a camper's email address, contact [email protected]
