How to Check In with a QR Code at a Campground

How to Check In with a QR Code

Some campgrounds let you check yourself in from your phone when you arrive. If you see a check-in QR code posted at the entrance or office, you can confirm your arrival in about a minute — no waiting at the front desk.

Before You Start

You'll need two things:

  1. Your Reservation Code — it's in your confirmation email (it looks like ABC12345).
  2. The email address you used to book.

Check In

  1. Open your phone's camera and point it at the QR code, then tap the link that pops up. The campground's Check In page opens in your browser.
  2. Enter your Reservation Code and Email Address.
  3. Tap Find My Reservation.
  4. Review your reservation details — your name, site, and dates.
  5. Tap Confirm Check-In.

That's it — you'll see a confirmation that you're checked in. If your site says "Assigned at check-in," stop by the office and the staff will point you to your spot.

If you still owe a balance, you can go ahead and check in — just settle it at the office during your stay.

Checking Out

When it's time to leave, scan the same QR code, look up your reservation the same way, and tap Confirm Check-Out. Safe travels!

If Something Doesn't Match

If the page says it can't find your reservation, double-check that your code is typed correctly and that you're using the same email you booked with. Still stuck? Just head to the campground office — the staff can check you in.
