      Meter Readings - CSV Upload Instructions

      Upload your Meter Readings in Bulk with just a few clicks!

      To import meter reads by CSV, generate the import file for the correct utility using the link above. Fill in all necessary data, then upload using the button below. Do NOT remove or change any of the data that is already filled in.

      1. To process correctly, each row should have a Read Date and Read Value, as well as either a Site and Utility (if this is an initial read), OR the ID of the Meter being read.

      2. If uploading an initial read for the Meter, the Site and Utility names must match exactly.

      3. Only Date format allowed is MM-DD-YYYY.

      4. Invoice ID can be found behind the # on the Invoice Details page or at the end of the URL of the same page.

      5. Reservation ID can be found at the end of the URL of the Reservation Overview page.

      6. If you have put an Invoice ID and a Reservation ID, the Reservation ID will be disregarded entirely, even if the Invoice ID does not exist.

      7. If any row is invalid or cannot be processed, the application will not import the file.

      8. Please check for errors, fix the file and submit once again.

      Note: To use the csv uploader to input reads for meters in bulk without charging on a reservation, remove the Reservation or Installment ID listed in the csv file.
