You can now offer ACH payments to your long-term guests, allowing them to make payments directly from their bank accounts. ACH payments provide a cost-effective alternative to credit card payments, helping guests avoid high processing fees.

-
Confirmation Once toggled on, ACH will be available as a payment option for all eligible long-term and flexible reservations (those over 27 nights).
Key Considerations for ACH Payments
While ACH payments can offer your guests a more affordable payment option, there are a few things to keep in mind:
Processing Time
ACH payments typically take 3–5 business days to process, but it can sometimes take up to 7 days for the funds to be fully transferred into your account. Let your guests know about this delay, so they can plan accordingly for timely payments.
ACH Refunds
- Refund Processing: ACH refunds also take up to 4 business days, and only one refund can be processed at a time. This means that if you refund part of a payment, you’ll need to wait for that refund to complete before processing another.
- Disputes: Guests can dispute ACH payments for up to 60 days after the payment is made, even if the payment has already been refunded. In rare cases, this could result in the funds being returned twice, requiring coordination with your guests to recover the amount.
Managing Multiple Refunds
If you need to issue multiple refunds for a reservation, keep in mind that only one ACH refund can be pending at a time. Attempting an additional refund will trigger a pop-up notifying you that the first refund must be completed before you can proceed.
